OUR STORY

The story goes that, at the beginning of the 20th century, a Frenchman passing through Lisbon fell in love with the city's charm and delicacy. It was in a traditional stairwell, in the heart of Chiado, that the Petit Jardin was born.

Officially founded in 1922, the Pequeno Jardim (Little Garden) has become part of the identity of Chiado. Among flowers, colors, and perfumes from different parts of the world, it has earned a special place in the life of Lisbon, inspiring artists, writers, and generations of people who have passed through its doors.

In 2019, the tradition gained a new expression with the creation of the first Flowertruck in Portugal. Installed in a 1970 Citroën HY, it brought the spirit of Pequeno Jardim to LX Factory in Alcântara, uniting the historical character of the brand with the creative energy of one of the city's most alternative spaces.

A story that continues to flourish.

In 2022, while the historic store at Rua Garrett 61 was undergoing renovations, we opened a new space at Rua Garrett 19, continuing our presence in Chiado.

The roots remain, the story continues.

In 2026, Rua Garrett 61 reopened its doors, marking a new chapter in our history.

Today, the two shops complement each other. At 19 Rue Garrett, you'll find a diverse selection of dried and preserved flowers, as well as indoor green plants of different sizes. At 61 Rue Garrett, outdoor plants and flowering varieties are the highlight.

In both cases, fresh flowers continue to be the main attraction, with bouquets and arrangements prepared by hand for every occasion.

More than a century later, we continue to do what has always defined us: bringing stories to life through flowers.
